LOCATION:              BEN CLARK REGIONAL TRAINING CENTER,

3473 Davis Rd, Riverside, Ca. 92518 (map)

 

From I-215 [SR-60], Exit Van Buren Blvd, Turn West onto Van Buren Blvd for 1.2 mi, Turn LEFT (South) onto Plummer St for 0.8 mi, turn RIGHT (West) at the first stop sign, then follow the signs to the range.  The range is located in the far southwest corner of the training center.

ENTRY RULES:       ALL COMPETITORS MUST BE N.R.A. MEMBERS   Competitors must be eligible to compete under RULE 2.4-POLICE

ALL COMPETITORS MUST PRESENT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS DURING REGISTRATION:
1. Valid Department or Agency Identification.
2. Valid N.R.A. Membership Card or pay to join the N.R.A.
3. Current Classification Card or current temporary classification.

NEW SHOOTERS AND SHOOTERS WITHOUT PROOF OF A LOWER CLASSIFICATION WILL SHOOT IN THE HIGH MASTER CLASS.

COMPETITORS WILL DO SCORING.
COMPETITORS FROM THE SAME DEPARTMENT WILL NOT SCORE EACH OTHER’S TARGETS!!!
TEAMS MUST BE DECLARED BEFORE THE FIRST SHOT IS FIRED BY A TEAM MEMBER.

COURSE OF FIRE:

 

Match 1       7 yard line, 12 rounds in 20 seconds, standing without support, double

                     action only.

                     15 yard line, 12 rounds in 20 seconds, standing without support, double

                     action only.

Match 2       25 yard line, 6 rounds kneeling, 6 rounds standing left hand barricade, 6

                     rounds standing right hand barricade in 90 seconds, double action only.

Match 3       50 yard line, 6 rounds sitting, 6 rounds prone, 6 rounds standing left hand

                     barricade, 6 rounds standing right hand barricade in 2 minutes 45 seconds, single or double

                     action.

Match 4       25 yard line, two stages of 12 rounds in 35 seconds, standing without support, double action.

Match 5       STAGE A:  7 yard line, 12 rounds in 20 seconds, standing without support, double action only.

                     STAGE B:  25 yard line, 6 rounds kneeling, 6 rounds standing left hand barricade, 6 rounds

                     standing right hand barricade in 90 seconds, double action only.

                     STAGE C:  50 yard line, 6 rounds sitting, 6 rounds prone, 6 rounds standing left hand barricade,

                     6 rounds standing right hand barricade in 2 minutes 45 seconds, single or double action only.

                     STAGE D:  25 yard line, 6 rounds in 12 seconds, standing without support, double action only.

 

 

California Police Pistol Association annual awards banquet will be hosted by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department on Saturday night at the March Field Air Museum.
