TREASURER’S REPORT....Read and presented to all members at the annual meeting.


All CPPA accounts are in good standings.  Report accepted.


Report on IRS tax status filing for Non-Profit status still pending a reply from IRS.  If no reply from IRS, then CPPA-Treasurer will seek the help of a tax person to file annual taxes as a corporation and pay any taxes.  This has been an on-going problem with the IRS and the CPPA’s non-profit tax status, if members have been following this issue.


Reminder: all Match Sponsors are responsible for paying the $50 Sponsor fee for the Annual Meeting location costs.

BY-LAWS......Nothing new. 




MEMBERSHIP….. 8 new CPPA members for 2013. 


Life members information needs to be updated on “LIFE” members for any (address) corrections.


All Match Sponsors were asked to try to bring on new members.

STATS AND RECORDS.......None.  BP Regional results no posted yet.  Waiting on John Koon for annual results and NRA for results on Distinguished match points.  He will post them online.




DISTINGUISHED MATCH........The 2013 final standings were emailed to BOD and posted at today’s meeting.  Only one (1) shooter legged out in Semi-Auto Pistol.  We have enough distinguished badges for the 2013 season awards.  We have one revolver badge left.   We will need to order more revolver badges.


PUBLICATIONS. Nothing.  Front Sight posted on the website.  Match flyers and match results are also posted on the website.  Send any pictures from matches to John Koon for posted on website.

REMINDER – all match sponsors need to provide TWO raffle prizes for the banquet and try to get prizes donated.  Mike Tangas, Brian Reilly, Tom Cantrell will check on pricing for plaques. 


All BOD members will email Tangas prior to banquet on status of assignments.


Targets:  Motion to continue CPPA funding to reduce target costs to sponsors.  CPPA funding available.  Proposed change in funding by CPPA from $4000 to $2500.  Motion passes to funded sponsors $2500 for target for 2014 matches.


Discussed Banquet costs for 2013 being too high.  Explained that charges by restaurant are up and also cost of banquet room.


Discussion on keeping track of scores and posting time limit.  Suggestion to post results sooner-electronically (not by mail).  Sponsors have 1 month to post results.  Suggested letting them try posting 2 weeks sooner, if possible.  Subject to be discussed with match sponsors.


Match Sponsors should be submitting their NRA applications as early as possible for inclusion in the NRA magazine(s). Match Sponsors need to send FLYERS to J. Koon-ASAP for posting on website.  Law Enforcement only on flyers.  Military Police are ok.



Match sponsors should have their match flyers posted on the website at least one month before the match.
